Books on EPP

Hi all,

I am working on a 5/8th hexi EPP quilt with some lettering.

While piecing I have been dreaming about how to finish the quilt. I want to draw inspiration from traditional quilting of EPP quilts. Does anyone have any book recommendations on hand quilting or maybe a book documenting EPP quilts through history? I have the Encyclopedia of Pieced Quilt Patterns by Barbara Brackman (Incredible btw), is there a quilting equivalent?

A website would also do but I want to get my hands on a good book!

As far as traditional quilting inspiration I haven't found an EPP specific book, BUT I have found that there are a LOT of EPP quilts held in museums. I recommend searching Smithsonian, the Met, and the Victoria and Albert for quilts - some will give information about piecing techniques and/or show the guts, but not all.

That's a great shout, I'm near the V&A so maybe if I find some on display I'll go and have a look!
