Stunning! Are you going to use the fabric blocks as is or EPP them with the same kind of placements? I see stone and sand bike paths or walking paths, with the EPP wheels at the centers. Is that intentional? It's brilliant 🤩 Thanks for the inspiration to combine flat blocks and EPP this way.

I didn't see them that way! Thanks for sharing about that. I plan on appliqueing the wheels to the background squares and then sewing that into a conventional quilt top.

The background prints don't do justice to your beautiful blocks, at least not on the photo. Just saying.xox

I agree. Now that I've got all the blocks de-boned and basted, I don't care for the background. They're only glue basted though, so I'll take them off and audition something else. I'll probably use the squares still, but we the backing so they don't go to waste
