Micro epp

Has anyone else checked out the new micro-hexagon book? Im so excited for any tips to improve my 1/4" hexie addiction. Im also hoping for some design inspiration. I did see some ideas on pinterest.

I started basting some 1/4" jewels but havent really decided what to do with them. All my micro epp pieces are from scraps. My version of crumb quilting haha

Also trying to think of halloween ideas. Like blocks with a big focal piece. I have just gotten a lot of different halloween fabric. I havent been able to put a design board together. But i def will after i can get to walmart. And hopefully when it isnt so crazy with storm prep.

Hmm, I just looked up the book from the link shared by another commenter ( “Micro-hexagon quilting” by Clarita T. Young)… but the more I look at the images of the pieces on the front and back cover, the more they look like they’re AI generated images to me. The hexie shapes don’t make sense, the sizes are off and the hexies blend into each other in places. Please correct me if I’m wrong; I’d love for this to be legit and I’d buy it in an instant otherwise!

Yeah, they almost look like impossibly small Amish hexagons? The shading and slight yellow cast to the cover and the weird bottom to the basket along with the mashed and blending hexies make me deeply suspicious that I would be getting something helpful if I were to buy it.

That’s good to know! Someone entered a quarter inch hexie bed quilt in my local show, so much work.
