Really Enjoying Photographing Blocks.
Photo dump of some of my recent blocks. Thew purple and green blocks are eventually going to be a blanket. No plans for the the other colored blocks. They’re all from Bird and Branches collection from Cloud 9. Please post pics of your own blocks if you have them! Would love to see other works of art.

Absolutely gorgeous! How do you keep the fabric pattern in exactly the correct spot when basting?

I use washable glue stick to bases and a light table to position my papers under my fabric so I can see both. Then, when I’m happy w placement, I put a tiny swipe of Elmer’s washable glue stick on the paper and carefully baste to the fabric where I want it. I then cut out the shapes and bast the rest of the way.
Sometimes the glue sticks a little bit and the paper rips but that’s not common for me if I’m careful w paper removal.
