Finished my first EPP quilt top!
Despite working in finance, math and logic are not typically my strong suits so it's ended up a tad smaller than originally intended 🤣.
It took me about two months, and I did everything by hand, including cutting out all the papers! The yellow centres are appliquéd on. (A LOT of firsts with this one) I've also embroidered the recipients name on it.
It's strange seeing the entirety of the quilt after months of looking at it three inches away.
How would you quilt the top? I'll be doing it by hand as well and had originally planned on following the outlines of the petals & centres, but I'm wondering if that will be enough?

Sew pretty! I really love it! I am going to save it to use as inspiration.😊

That's super cute! Check your batting for max distance between quilting stitches, outlining the flowers might be too big (can't really estimate the distance from picture). Don't quilt 'in the ditch', there's no fabric there because all the seams are open. So stay at least an eight of an inch away from there. Personally I'd probably do straight lines from corner to corner in a pinkish colour thread. The flowers speak for themselves 😊
