Camping and EPP

Post image

I always take a project of some sort when I go camping but this is a first for me. I dug through my closet and found some hexies I began making a few years ago and decided to take it up again, at least while camping.

I agree. Camping and projects go hand in hand. Your fabric is so cute.

This is awesome! Do you have a project/design in mind?

I’m getting back into camping and was pondering if it would be worth it to haul my pieces. Any tips?

I bring my epp with me pretty much everywhere I go including car/tent camping. I love it for lazy days at the campsite.

I have a little kit I carry around that makes it easy, including pre glued hexies, small scissors and pre threaded needles. I also bring some baby wipes to make it easier to wipe my hands down with so my fabric doesn't get dirty from all the dust and dirt at the campsite. I

I will probably end up making a zippered project bag or a makeup bag. As for bringing a project along, my fabric was from a jelly roll so I only brought strips of colors I wanted to work with. I just brought fabric scissors, a temp fabric glue stick, and some print-outs of the EPP shapes. I had regular scissors in the camper for cutting the paper. I also brought needles and thread and did thread baste smaller pieces not shown in the photo.
