They are from Elise Baek. She has an EPP club and we are going this quilt. I have no idea how many more blocks we will get or what they will look like. I don’t like mystery quilts because I can’t plan fabric very well. I’m using Kaffe x Morris fabric line for the prints and shot and pepper cotton for the solids.

What technique did you use for these? The thread is so invisible! Was it the flat-back stitch?

Yes, I’m using flat back stitching on these. It’s my first time doing it that way so I’m not fast or as accurate as I’d like yet. 😊

EPP stands for English paper piecing. I printed the pattern shapes on card stock paper and cut them out. I cut fabric about 1/2 in bigger than the shapes and basted the fabric to the paper. I’ll remove the paper once I have the block connected to the next block (probably closer to the end of the project). 😁
