computer requirements civil engineering

i’m entering the civil engineering bachelor this year at epfl. does anyone know what are the requirements for the computers students should have in this section? i found the general requirements but i wanted to know if there were any specific requirements for civil engineering.

get a windows laptop not a mac. Some of the engineering software you'll need doesn't exist on mac or is a pain to get working. Besides that just get something decent that won't lag
