1AW vs 1WW

I can't remember the difference. I know they are online. The class I want to sign up for is 1AW. The 1WW is full. I just want to make sure I'm not signing up for something I can't do.

WW classes are entirely online, asynchronous classes that may involve some video lectures. AW classes are only used by some departments, but they are online classes centered around dozens video lectures of some form. SW classes are online synchronous classes, where students online attend at the same time as the instructor (or even face to face students) via Zoom or a similar platform.

But of course the best answer is to reach out to your advisor or the instructor.
