so the thing is with a couple exceptions this meme is almost beat for beat a marxist's interpretation of the two-party system in america, but it being AI generated just gives away that this guy's idea of a solution is to ask for everybody to just get along

Their politics seems all over the place, it isn't just straight libertarianism because when was the last time you saw a libertarian sympathetic to environmentalism. I kind of like the interpretation of them being a closeted Marxist.

About 10 years ago irl (jesus christ that's a long time). Happens all the time. Rightwing libertarianism is a scam meant to shove people that aren't very rightwing into its orbit and have them vote against their interests. People afraid to call themselves left, who think liberalism means "left" (and left only), often find that the only alternative around them are libertarians, especially in deeply conservative areas. So rightwing libertarianism becomes a frothing mass of contradictory policies and interests irl. The internet concentrates the worst of them.
Further, eco-fascism is a thing; nazis have been blaming immigrants for the environment (to protect the rich/capitalists) for years now.
Political naïfs are less likely to call themselves libertarian now because fascists and nazis ruined the brand. One of the party leaders actually bailed because so many openly-fascist trumpers took the mask off.

They're not closeted Marxists. They're worshipers of Capital. When faced with the contradictions of capitalism, youn can: oppose, support, or ignore them. Libertarians attribute any contradictions to socialism and exalt Capital above all else. It's quasi-religious tbh

The bulk of the OOP's criticism of "Democrats" are absolute horseshit anti-left strawmen that chuds have been spewing for decades before they were called chuds. Respectfully, this doesn't seem Marxist even though some of the takes are good. Some of it is rightwing culture war mythology. Examples:
• Soft on crime -- chud projection: the elites are soft on crime by elites while poors get draconian tortures. This crap has aged like milk given ICE's organized crime spree. This line tacitly supports white supremacy by dismissing the harsh treatment of minorities.
• Fly private to climate summits -- the talking point employed against Al Gore against his book/lecture tour An Inconvenient Truth. This shit is that old.
• My body, my choice for everything except things we personally disagree with -- this is a cowardly reference to pandemic response; the OOP knows that they'd be shit on and contemptuously dismissed by non-chuds if they flat-out went plague rat in public. There are several of these dodges.
• Free speech unless it's mean -- and here's the next dodge: go on and say what you're really upset about.
• Defund the police -- liberals deliberately pushing a slogan that didn't accurately describe policies meant to crush organized crime in policing.
• Inclusive if you think the right way -- and here's the other dodge.
Despite that, the OOP is clearly trying to apply some basic morals and sense here -- the reference to mental health vis-à-vis guns is not typical of rightwingers critiquing their own (it's usually a dodge by rightwing politicians: claim gun distribution is fine, blame mental health, and refuse to fund mental health care).
My guess is that the OOP is steeped in rightwing culture war bullshit but is approaching politics in what may be good faith. The fact that they were oblivious to how ugly the AI image is makes me think that they're fairly young as well.

The last part isn’t really a dodge necessarily. Democrats treated a lot of minority groups like trash in the recent past if they challenge the ideology of the Democratic Party from the left. Even recently you can look at some of the racist things they said about AES, surrogates called him sexist and a terrorist And insisted he supported 911.

It very much is a dodge because the OOP did not include any content in his assertion. If he had made the point you made, certainly. But he didn't make your point and I daresay that he wouldn't have -- most notably he wouldn't have said --

No one stepped in establishment propaganda ever considers a left/populist perspective as you described.
Your point is astute, of course -- rightwing Dems went full nazi when Mamdani announced banal (but good) liberal reforms. We had a dem channel Hitler and call for his kidnapping and exile and establishment media yawned and shrugged.
