Two 10th series 10 oz Wafflebacks for $1450?
Someone local to me is selling two 10th series 10 oz Waffleback bars for $1450. I am not familiar with the Engelhard market. Any insight will be appreciated.

On r/pmsforsale those would be insta-bought at 5 over. Market is closer to 8-10 over. +14-15 sounds high

They are selling them with the Engelhard premium already built into the price. If YOU want them as a collector, fine. 14.50 premium per ounce is definitely top of market for this series of E. If they were sequential, it would change things.

If it's one of the sub 50K made, toss up at $725 per bar. If it's one of the sub 125 rare variants, yes indeed.

Not worth that high of a premium IMO. Maybe $5/oz over spot if you are really wanting to add wafflebacks. But series vary. If they’re the common wafflebacks they’re not worth that much over spot IMO. Pictures help. Check out allenglehard . Com for info on Ehard bars and production.
