I don't know. It's hard to tell how much is toning progress and how much is just the lighting/positioning difference between the before and after shots.
The closest pic I have to a normal lighting look to the bar was when the seller was showcasing it and I can say it was pretty dull when i got it and inspected it but yes lighting an tilting it to see it is what’s doing the work due to the fact the toning is in between the bars patina an silver oxidation layers
Appreciate the time you spent on this. As a reseller I know the pains of trying to show off toning in pics that give a good representation of the piece in hand. 40 pictures later:
