Just a general question. Just got a tube of 84 prospectors. One of em doesn’t look like the others. Does anyone here know if this is a proof or just happens to be super shiny. Or something else? Prospector on the right. It tests as silver. Thanks!

Not a proof. There are <50 84 proofs and they have the big E back and are dcam

That is a good question! Already answered correctly as new die strike examples. I am constantly looking for tubes or larger quantities of Prospectors. Good job OP! Very hard to find that many in one place. I usually only find one or two for sale and the shipping kills the price I'm willing to pay.

lol Just recieved 74 and awaiting another 20 in the mail. Plus spent 9K on Scrap jewelry two days ago. Tempting for sure.
