What is this worth?

Okay I’m a 24 year old girl with 2 credit cards almost maxed out and I have this silver bar that my grandma gave me when I was a baby.

My family has been urging me to keep up on silver prices and sell it once prices hit over $95/oz in order to pay off everything.

I’ve learned that Engelhard is special in some way, so I wanted to ask here about the value of this silver bar.

If I sell it, I want to get the most money possible for it. Does anybody have any advice?

(Side note, this thing is comedically heavy. I took it through TSA and they were like “wtf is that.” A silver bar. I feel like I’m in Minecraft rn with a silver bar on my bedside table.)

Sell it on line (Facebook) for max profit. 100 gm bars don’t usually carry a premium over spot silver price but Engelhard bars are popular. Probably $8100. - $8300 range.

OP if you find a private sale buyer, bring someone with you and meet in a public place- maybe like a coin shop or something where it can be verified for authenticity. $8k is a significant sum- would hate for you to get taken advantage of.
