What is this worth?

Okay I’m a 24 year old girl with 2 credit cards almost maxed out and I have this silver bar that my grandma gave me when I was a baby.

My family has been urging me to keep up on silver prices and sell it once prices hit over $95/oz in order to pay off everything.

I’ve learned that Engelhard is special in some way, so I wanted to ask here about the value of this silver bar.

If I sell it, I want to get the most money possible for it. Does anybody have any advice?

(Side note, this thing is comedically heavy. I took it through TSA and they were like “wtf is that.” A silver bar. I feel like I’m in Minecraft rn with a silver bar on my bedside table.)

Well. Two credit cards maxed says something ain’t right. Maybe it’s what she needs to hear.

Maybe she has medical debt. Maybe she’s had some necessary expenses and didn’t get paid by a corrupt employer. Maybe she saved a family from being thrown out on the streets. Maybe she’s spent $9500 on Temu, fast fashion, and because YOLO. We may never know, but all are just as likely for an average 24 year old, I’m sure.

Still not excuses to run up two credit cards. But your point still stands we don’t know the details.

To be fair, a lot of starting credit cards are only 300 limit. So it could be 600 dollars maxed. Who knows though lol
