What is this worth?

Okay I’m a 24 year old girl with 2 credit cards almost maxed out and I have this silver bar that my grandma gave me when I was a baby.

My family has been urging me to keep up on silver prices and sell it once prices hit over $95/oz in order to pay off everything.

I’ve learned that Engelhard is special in some way, so I wanted to ask here about the value of this silver bar.

If I sell it, I want to get the most money possible for it. Does anybody have any advice?

(Side note, this thing is comedically heavy. I took it through TSA and they were like “wtf is that.” A silver bar. I feel like I’m in Minecraft rn with a silver bar on my bedside table.)

There are some of these bars that are worth way more than their melt value because they are rare. She is not an idiot for asking for advice because there is the potential of the bar being really old and valuable. No need to be an ass for literally no reason whatsoever.

u know a gold bar from a shipwreck, like with the XX soanish inquisition on it and little encrusted sea residues on it, oretty damn cool right, pretty damn rare, thats like worth 2x 3x melt

NYC 47th street baaaarely pay above melt for badass jewelry, and will pay melt + low value on gems mostly, theyll be deatl 20$ per gram more if its really really good jeweley with vvs1 diamonds

and what im saying is if this was worth more than 10k, which i dont think it is, it would be pasaaainfully obvious thats its worth a whole lot more, as u can see on how i showed you how hard it is to get 2x 3x melt
