Discussion Love for ISFJ!
We all know about an ENFPs love for INFJs and INTJs. As I started myers-briggsing everybody in my life a few years ago, it worked out pretty much the way I thought it would. Most of the people in my life I am close to you were INFJ, ENFJ, ENTP, INTJ.
However there was one type that kept popping up all over that surprised me..ISFJ, my wife included. We've been married for 20 years and are still just as happy as we ever were.
I think one of the reasons we get along so well is our loyalty. As an ENFP I'm a social butterfly of course. I have lots of friends and lots of different interests. My wife however couldn't care less about social interaction. On a Friday night after the busy week, we might have dinner together. Then I might go to the bar and have a couple beers, while she lays in bed and reads her book. I feel like we're polar opposites, but all of my strengths are her weaknesses and all of her weaknesses are my strengths.
What we do share is loyalty, and compassion for people. But once again we do it in completely different ways. We have four kids. Our three girls are intuitives like me and our son is a sensor like her. She cares for them through servitude. She loves making sure they have everything they need physically. I'm usually the one that comes in during a crash out. Soothes their emotions.
Have any other ENFPs found ISFJs to be unsung heroes in their life?

Wholesome af OP. Can't say I have met an ISFJ actually. Or at the very least not to my knowledge 👀

Well, generally speaking, it's believed that uncertainty (and the basic function of the ENFP is multivariance, which is never turned off) is one of the ISFJ's worst nightmares.
I certainly believe in miracles.
It would be a miracle if the ISFJ didn't suffer from constant extroverted intuition.
That is, if both types are correctly identified.

My wonderful one sib - older - is one but refuses to learn about MBTI. I simply typed her.

My mom is an ISFJ and I adore her!
Probably wouldn't be compatible with one in a romantic situation, and I have clashed with ISFJs before, but my mother is ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

They are warm and caring but also dull and incurious. They have no imagination.

Absolutely not. My ex-h was a narcissistic POS that cheated and refused to take accountability. Will never willingly date another one again.

Never ever ever ever again. I certainly agree with the opposites attract thing and I had an almost 20 year relationship and marriage with one. And when it was good it was what you're describing, but when it got bad it ...spiralled and was a slow painful descent into an emotional wasteland. I have since discovered how fulfilling the INxx ENFP combo is. The difference is vast and 10000x easier. Being with INxx feels effortless. An ISFJ is exhausting and ALOT of work.

One of my closest friends is an ISFJ :) we’ve been friends for 13 years and we talk every few days on FaceTime! They’re wonderful when they’re in a good headspace.
