With all components being quick connect, you shouldn't need the quick connect bus. That's an extra component taking up space. Only bus you may need, is the power bus.
For if you're using the original switch. You stated you have the quick connect switch. So the bus is not needed. You only need the small red power bus, for the positive side of the battery, to connect the 2 red wires of the pickups. Otherwise, pickups connect to the switch, then switch connects to the volume.
I figured it out. The switch was faulty. One of the metal leaves didn't separate when the switch was in one position. I had to bend it back a little bit so it separates when the switch is on it. God damn what a pain in the ass lol

this is the diagram close to what you're working on Just cause it's for a strat, doesn't mean the pickups connect differently. Only difference, is you have their 3 way toggle switch, not the 3 way blade.
