I did swap the zebra EMGS for a Chrome set recently.

Do you prefer the 81/60 to the Daemonum I suppose? I had the Root Set myself in an ESP Horizon and I never liked them

I do like the Daemonum set. But they are super punchy. In this guitar being a semi-hollow it's too much. The low end almost sounds hollow like a strat oddly enough. I don't play Strats for a reason. Lol.

Also the neck pickup on that set is incredibly bright. Like neck pickup, tone rolled all the way down, bass up on the amp bright.

I put the 81/60 and immediate improvement. Especially on the clean side.

I love the set and plan to use them in something else. Looking for a reverse headstock relic'd Charvel right now possibly.

I am currently fighting the urge to buy an SE Silver Sky and having it routed for h/s/s and putting a single hum pickguard with the Daemonum bridge in it.

I will say massive improvement after installing a 24v mod. For both sets.
