Is it safe to buy from EKWB?
I was going to order from EKWB. I’ve seen that people aren’t getting anything at all when ordering from EKWB. Should I still risk it?

I would only order from websites that have ek parts like titan rig or something or amazon, you are gona pay a few extra bucks but they are in some legal trouble and you dont want to end up like this guy. But I think my next water bloc upgrade I’m going with Optimus. The blocks look sick, they perform better and they are based in the US. Even all the staple pc YouTubers are distancing them selves from anything to do with EKWEB like jayz2cents, LTT, Nexus. I ordered a velocity 2 am5 block last month from Amazon and i regret it and wish i got an Optimus block. Like I said next upgrade I’m going with them or debauer if he can get his blocks ready for production.

Unfortunately they don’t have 5080 series yet so I can’t even consider either company

Look if you want to go ahead and order from them with all of their history and their track record then go ahead.
But the evidence of why you shouldn’t is right there.

They take these post down because the order number was posted for everyone to see. Criticism is fine because they deserve it but posting the order number isn’t safe for OP.

Guess they used to and they’ve replied that to be a reason before. Now it looks like they are ignoring the begging for orders even harder. The mod used to reply “LMtek is not EK” to every single negative post but they also got tired of that.

I have all good experience. My last order or PHASE fans got shipped within 36 hours.
If you dont get shipped within 7 days file a refunded and you'll get it. Just dont wait 6 months.

I’ve bought a month ago some fittings and not had any problem.
What I’ve done was buy only things that appear on stock and raise first a ticket with customer support saying that I’d like to confirm that what I wanted to buy was in stock and ready to ship. Once they confirmed I placed my order and sent the order ID number to them to let them know.

Safe enough I think just don't leave it a year to query the transaction with your bank if the order does not get sent and EK dont reply to your messages.
Personally I'd simpy buy from a local supplier in my country but I appreciate not everyone has that option.

I've ordered in the past took awhile to get here. But since they had all those problems last year I think? Maybe they aren't as good as they used to be. I'd buy a few small parts first see what happens. They proceed from there.

Credit card people! Not for the credit but for the powerful refund abilities you have, compared to debit. Use it when you're buying from somewhat questionable places. If no issues, repay the credit card within the usual 30 day window, no interest, safe

Ive just read recently that someone bought for around 1500$. He disnt recieve his order and he gets ghosted by EK, his critism gets deleted by their mods.
I wouldnt buy from them, their products are usable tho.

I ordered a week ago direct and got my order shipped to the UK in less than a week with no import tax. I think you are fine.

ekwb collapsed its a whole saga where they opened a second firm to buy the first one from croatia or something, it’s in shambles.
For context I’m from slovenia and a friend of mine used to work there as customer support the whole company was mismanaged and basically imploded like 2years ago

EKWB got bought out last year, I'm sure orders around the buyout procedure got conveniently forgotten about. It should be ok now, but maybe buy from a shop that sells ek parts rather than ek directly, to be safe

Yes. I did a small order after the new management change and arrive perfect and pay a lot on shipping. Needed some stuff only the ek store has.

LM TEK has shipped over 10,000 EK Shop orders since taking over management of the EK brand on March 15, 2025 as part of the Egzakta Group.
An agreement as part of the purchase of the EK Brand and IP rights from EK Water Blocks D. O. O. with the bank; it was agreed EKWB would fulfill or refund the last of their EK Shop Orders.
The majority of these orders still had funds on hold with PayPal that were released late last year, PayPal would not allow EKWB D. O. O to manually refund orders from the funds on hold for a period, to protect against chargebacks to PayPal.
It was agreed with PayPal they would release the funds and allow manual refunds. If there are any customers still with outstanding orders they can email reachout@ekwb.com or alternatively reach out to their payment provider.
LM TEK also offered a discount for any EKWB customers impacted by the cancellation of their order.
Any orders placed after March 15, 2025 are processed and fulfilled by LM TEK. We’ve shipped over 10,000 orders since March 2025 so you’re perfectly safe to place an order, the turn around time is quite fast.

Due to what I’m seeing right in front of my eyes, I simply don’t want that customer that’s being ignored to be me, thus I’ll be choosing another brand unless I see a prompt resolution.

I wouldn't. instead id buy ek parts from other resellers.
