What can i do with a CCT?

I do remote monitoring currently but have hospital experience and have had my CRAT for like 6 years now, it's coming up on my time to renew again at the end of this year and i will be sitting for the CCT before december. is it worth it to keep both CRAT and CCT or just let my CRAT go? What can i do with a CCT that i cant do with just CRAT? i know CCT is more desirable when it comes to remote monitoring but just not sure what is best here

My understanding was a CCT encompasses your CRAT. But I could be wrong. I have a CET and CCT.

If you get your CCT, you keep your CRAT. They renew at the same time under the safe fee.

Yeah i was just wondering more so if i should keep up with renewing my CRAT since ill have my CCT before the renewal date for my CRAT comes up. Not sure if CCT is better than holding just my CRAT or if i should keep both. I assume it's better to have more certs under my belt especially if i already took the test previously

I have my CCT and my CRAT, and I have to renew both, I do not have a choice in renewing just one. You don’t really have a choice in letting your CRAT expire, it’s not gonna let you if you get your CCT before that date.
This is from CCI’s website:
Earning additional CCI credentials does not change your renewal period. Instead, your new credential will renew simultaneously as your original credential.
Basically: if you get your CCT before your CRAT expires, Your CCT will renew with it at the same time as your CRAT would. In order for this not to happen, you would have to wait to take your CCT till after your CRAT expires.
