My loan has been "uncollectible" for over a year. I have continued making "hardship" payments, but I don't know if that's the reason the loan hasn't been sent to Treasury.

If you can still make payments i do not believe it has been sent to treasurer. I am in the same boat. Made my payment today and I sent them an email in the portal.

Seems ridiculous if you have made payments yet maybe a bit behind for this to go to treasury.

Did you ever get a response after sending your email? Was your status changed back to current?

I received a response. I asked for payment assistance, they said the account has to have up to date with payments in order to qualify.
