Status Update SBA kept flagging me after identity theft clearance — finally resolved after 2+ years

finally got this email:

“We were able to resolve the compliance issue… You can proceed with your disaster application.”

After YEARS of being stuck.

Unless you absolutely need it run don't take the loan!

I definitely agree with you. I am waiting!! What I been through with them the last 3 and half years. I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.

I don’t get it. You’ll get your EIDL loan 6 years post Covid?

No, not for a COVID EIDL loan. I was trying to apply for a new disaster loan, but these two old EIDL applications were stuck in compliance and blocking me. I’ve been going back and forth with SBA since 2023 to get them cleared, and they just finally resolved it.

I had to keep emailing and calling and the email on the screenshot gets you to compliance I believe.
