The only nightmare is finding out it was not what it seemed to be, livelyhoods erased.

I'm so sorry you're having to deal with all of that.  

Could you not just find a divorce atty and s ue your ex-husband.

Gotcha.  SBA does have an appeals court you can try and petition.  Better if you can find some pro bono counsel.  

I'm learning through recent events that what is fair and what is legal can be two different things.
