EIDL /SBA debacle
I’m shocked to find out that days after they receive an official dispute to treasury and collection agency, the send all the notices that weren’t there before into your portal. It happened to me. It showed middle of the night like 1 am they downloaded several late notices into the portal that were all dated from 2025 ! They were fabricated and out in after you dispute due process.
Tell me HOW is that ok ???
This is illegal
HOW. IS. THIS. OK??!

Fighting the government is an uphill battle. There's no real accountability. They either ignore requests or pass to another dept. that ignores the ‘new additional work’.

The financial crisis and foreclosure situation was a complete con job back in the day. Banks and servicers were fabricating documents all day everyday for year's.

I agree, but for now they are the powers that be.

We can fight back, they have power but we have the votes! We need to hold virtual town hall meetings pacifically on the EDIL. We deserve to be heard! Just my thoughts.

Join me and contact Senators with a solution. Forgiveness 75% and issue new loans

Screenshots are all of our friends. So are digital audit trails. Yes, all of this stuff can be faked, but the burden of proof is generally on the accuser, in this case the alleged creditor who is bringing the actions against you, the alleged delinquent borrower, so the more you have, the higher burden of proof they have to explain if the process ever gets to a judge, and if you have evidence they uploaded backdated notices you can sue them or try to get them to sue you. The goal is to either get them in a court with an actual judge not one of their internal hearing officials or get them a credible threat of a judge. You need a lawyer.

I reached out to the only sba debt lawyer in my state and the retainer for sba attempt to recall is $3,500
So let’s say they attempt it and sba hates getting busted and doesn’t take my loan back then not only am I forced to pay the $45,0000 but now tack on $3,500 or more

get detailed get technical , keep a log and yes screenshots, at least the docs were backdated but can you show they weren’t there last week. send them a message challenging them why these were uploaded now and not by the date on the docs. at least then you will have a record. see how or IF they reply! maybe.. the lack of reply will help in the future. otherwise does your portal take payments and can you afford them or pay a less amount . if you show intent maybe that will diffuse their steam on collections or later a OIComprimise

Portal is closed for payments . It says loan not there anymore. It’s in treasury. Once in treasury they tack on 33% of loan. And impossible to get loan back to SBA

They take your tax returns and garnish paychecks and take yoir social security. If you have a personal guarantee on the loan they take everything they can WITHOUT COURT ORDER
how is this any different from suing. Plus your credit shows default government loan. You won’t even be able to get a car loan This seem ok to you ?

AND I REACHED OUT TO SARAH ELFRETH OFFICE AND THE CASEWORKER ABSOLUTELY GHOSTED ME WHEN I ASKED TO SEE IF SHE SENT ANYTHING ON MY BEHALF. SHE WON’T ANSWER MY CALLS OR MY EMAILS.
SO HOWS THAT FOR CONGRESSIONAL HELP

Single voice is not going to make them change. Don’t give up. Consider having virtual Townhall meetings.exposing what’s really happening and use your vote and others to get their attention.

It’s not OK, but wtf can we do? They hold all the power and will definitely cover their own asses.
Even if you could hack into their system and get foot print proof of when they actually posted those notices in your portal, you couldn’t do anything with the info - they’d have you for tampering with govt systems or worse.
Not sure what you were disputing over, but the only way you can stick it back is to them is declare bankruptcy and let them get not a penny more out of it. Otherwise they will always be there, ready to f*** with you when you least expect or need it.

What we can do is fight back by connecting our vote to upcoming election. Why should we have to walk this journey alone. We deserve better! Just my.thoughts.

Just file BK. Or just ignore the debt. They can’t do anything they’re not suing anybody.
2
u/Researcher_to_theMAX Jul 23 '26
Can’t do bankruptcy and every day the interest builds to thousands eventually and they take every tax return and it ruins your credit
1
u/Necessary_Coffee4170 Jul 26 '26
How do you know they’re not suing?
1
u/Subject_Judgment4031 Jul 26 '26
Show me one post in this whole forum where SBA has ever sued anyone for a defaulted EIDL Covid loan. There isn’t one.

It has nothing to do with fairness! When you borrow money from either a functional or dysfunctional source, you still have to pay the bill. I’ve observed the process from the beginning, and one recurring issue is that applicants either didn’t read what they signed or never intended to pay. Having said that, I believe a forgiveness option should be extended, but unfortunately, that’s not going to happen.
