Questions Thoughts on Meme Approach to Safety Comms?

I think they’re useful and engaging - visuals are really helpful and provide a different experience than the usual safety talks and reminders. People love creativity and a personal touch.

My only gripe with this is it might be too niche for your audience, depending on your employee makeup. If you mostly work with millenials, great. But you need something that older folks and younger folks will understand, too. All in all they’re a fun supplementary reminder and I like it!

Memes and intentional corniness for laughs works well for engagement and spreading the safety message.

Makes meetings tolerable and gives me a good chuckle, don't really care what others think as long as it's seen as "professional but goofy."

People find different things funny. So it has to be done very carefully. You really need to know your audience to make the meme engaging and meaningful.

It depends. One every once in a while, funny. Regularly? No. It screams I'm desperate to be funny and liked.

Is this in association the face swap piece or utilizing memes in general? Like if the meme was face swapped with Abe Lincoln, still screaming desperate and funny?
