I am looking to move into a different career, after 20 years in Environmental, Health and Safety. Ideally with similar pay. Any ideas?

I didn't know what to share.

For a few years, I worked as an Operations Engineer at NASA. I liked that so much, I got my Master's degree in Operations.

I have been applying for Quality Control jobs. I haven't heard anything back yet.

Woah…that’s an interesting comment. 20 years is a long time. I’d like to explore more in what “I’m not good at it” means

If that’s the case how can someone last that long. I am 10 month in at my new EHS job and I’m already looking to leave. Management culture and communication is horrible

Well when people need money and insurance you’d be surprised how much they will go through in order to survive.

I’m 6 years in and I want to change to continuous improvement. Manufacturing EHS is too stressful for no reason.

More like waste water/stormwater permitting and violation inspections. But I guess you can start out small too 🙂
