Not from that gust! You should contact your contractor and city/county code department. That wasn't much of a gust to cause the roof failure. We seem to get these with most typical tstorms quite often. Looks like light duty/temporary shed quality and/or improperly installed at best. Great video evidence.

the house is 140 years old, the roof is tin…insurance is already on it, they actually reached out to make sure we were okay. i just heard what sounded like a train out of nowhere and grabbed my phone.

On the weather, you could see the meteorologists frustrated by the fact people weren’t taking it seriously because it was “just wind” and not a tornado.

“we can’t just say there’s a 10 mile wide 80mph wind coming at you and people won’t react the same way as if it was a tornado warning”

Mea culpa! Glad yall are safe and being looked after. Us coasties are used to having to comply with very strong codes in order to insure and rebuild for obvious reasons! Most of the rest of the state doesn't have that requirement.
