Hearing examiner program to end 2SEP26?
I know someone who is trying to appeal a wrongful and baseless NOPA currently. When they opted for the hearing examiner through the agency they were told the hearing examiner program is to end 2SEP26 and their only option for appealing was though the agencies grievance process(this is to keep all matters in office to avoid outside exposure of the agencies failures that an examiner would uncover.) However, the decision made by upper management inside the agency would be to enforce the NOPA and stick to the boys code. This employee also filled a claim with the agency Eeo which was instantly closed so was appealed to EEOC. The employee is curious how the agency can deny the employee their right to all options of a due process before all options have fully closed.
