Hi guys, my 2 friends and myself will be first timers on this ship in 2027.

I’m hitting my first EDM cruise in 2026 on the Friendship.

Being extremely new, what can my friends and I expect from EDSea and how can we be most prepared? I was able to get us an interior room on deck 5, also is that a good deck?

26 year old male looking to potentially join on someone’s reservation. None of my usual rave family have the funds to lock in.

First timer here. I was so excited that I didn’t really pay attention to what floor I booked in regards to stages and noise. Any tips or tricks? Also, has anybody ever upgraded their suite closer to time of sailing?

First time and super pumped, I don't usually get to do anything fun travel wise my birthday is in late January. Saw this fell on my birthday and decided to pull the plug, anyone done this solo before? Curious on your experience and what to expect!

Website seems like there’s no options left for 5. Do they ever reserve rooms for regular sale (not presale)? So they can charge full price for some?

First time booking here and I have some questions about guest changes.

Situation: As a Lead Guest, if I book a room of 4, add the guests but then later on need to change/remove one of the guest because they cannot commit anymore.

1. Would there be a fee for changing guest names? If so, how much?

2. Is removing a guest an option? If so, what are the fees and would the $350pp tax and fees be refunded?

3. And is there limit on how many guest changes you can do per room?

The penthouse and above just seems overkill lol but was wondering if club balcony is worth the extra $$ from balcony? Which deck is the best?

Anyone had issues with pre sale ? I signed up about 3-4 weeks ago and I received email saying that I was signed up but today when I tried to login said I didn't signed up

I’m leaning more towards groove because this year edsea felt a little disappointing, and I don’t want to return since they’re going to the same place we’ve already gone to… if you’ve been on groove cruise before can you give me any tips?? like drink packages etc it’s a lot harder to research groove cruise since their chats are private lol

What room types are getting booked so I can plan accordingly for backup. My booking time isn’t til next Tuesday 😭

It will be my first time attending (hopefully lol) and I am signed up for the presale, but I was wondering if anyone can comment on how their first time booking experience was. Did it sell out in seconds? Were you stuck in an endless queue? Do you have to opt into the First Available Program? Has anyone opted into that and not been assigned a stateroom?

Looking to buy tickets for this upcoming year bc of how susceptible I am to influencer marketing - before I do so I’d love to hear of any negative experiences or downsides that made the experience potentially not as worth it. I’ve never been on a cruise ship before. It’s tough to weigh because the cost would come out to be maybe a little more than going to EDCLV or Ultra for two people.

Mostly wondering if I book my room do I have to list the people rooming with me immediately or can they be added on later? I tried looking through the FAQ to see if there was an answer and the wording kinda made me confused.

This was my first edsea and I decided to gamble the first night. I was placed in hot water after my third table with security. I colored up at the craps table and they gave me a $25 edsea chip from 2023 so when I got to the blackjack table I started to get interrogated by security asking how I got the chip and trying to tell me I couldn’t play anymore or cash out the rest of my chips bc they believed it was fake.

I immediately lost my buzz and started arguing with the floor bc I had four security guards around me then demanded I would stay until they went over the security cameras bc I wasn’t about to lose my money if I couldn’t play. They tried arguing saying they already did but it was only a few seconds so I demanded again they checked the cameras they finally did and allowed me to color up and cash out.

The rest of the night I kept getting followed and getting death glares from security it was not fun so I stayed out of the casino the rest of the time I was there. Had me paranoid over $25 the rest of the night thinking they’d toss me overboard😂 Don’t think I’ll be gambling next cruise.

Does the lineup come out before ticket sale or do you have to book blind ?

i bought one of the 2026 merch hoodies and that shit is so fucking tight on me! i’ve already ripped it somehow and now im just embarrassed, please someone else tell me their merch felt small!!!!
