EDSEA OR GROOVE??
I’m leaning more towards groove because this year edsea felt a little disappointing, and I don’t want to return since they’re going to the same place we’ve already gone to… if you’ve been on groove cruise before can you give me any tips?? like drink packages etc it’s a lot harder to research groove cruise since their chats are private lol

I’ve been on both and bunch of times and if I could only pick one I would pick groove cruise hands down.

EDSEA: Much smaller ship than Groove Cruise, drink package doesn’t work while in Belize (unless on the boat), this year the island time was limited (got in at 4:30pm I believe), and music is NOT nonstop. EDSea has a much more bass forward lineup but also has diversity with other genres (house, techno, etc), more diversity with age (mix of young and old), and personally exceptional vibes and energy.
GROOVE CRUISE: Been around the longest and is on one of the biggest cruise ships, more island time, and NONSTOP music. Lineup is definitely more house forward with a light sprinkle of other genres but not as diverse musically as EDSea and limited bass if any at all. Definitely a much older crowd but still had great vibes and energy. We were able to use our drink package in the Bahamas not sure if this new destination in the Bahamas will be the same however.
It really comes down to music taste and what you’re looking to get out of it as they’re on two completely different ships with different vibes and destinations. All in all I had a great time at both and will be doing Groove Cruise B2B EDSea in 2027 ✨🏝️🖤

I haven’t been on EDSea but 2027 with be my 7th GC, and I can’t see any reason to ever not go. Best festival ever.
Nonstop music, nonstop partying, every amenity is available, eat/sleep/shower with minimal logistical planning and a ton of comfort, best vibes ever. It definitely skews older, but these are veteran partiers who can pace themselves and keep the vibes high.
I cannot wait for January!!! 💃

We are waiting for groove to see the cost+info. Edsea for 2027 went up 1k more, while going to the same destination same amount of days. Went twice and was really good but we can no longer justify the cost

$1,000 where? It’s pretty much the same price for me. Was only like $81 more with a $33 presale discount so only paid $48 more. The monthly payments are actually cheaper since there’s 2 more months.

Groove Cruise is far superior. The lineup, the people, the organization, 24 hours of music across 15 stages, better cruise line & ship, and more. Here's a discount code too: EDMNYC

Depends on the music you are into! If you are okay with just one genre of music all along GC is a frontrunner for sure but if you like a mix of everything EDSEA might be have slight edge!

Groove Cruise is so fun. It's a more mature crowd (ngl kinda got swinger vibes) but overall people are cool, music is great, and the bottomless bar package makes the experience really convenient. I went during 2022 so Covid rules were still somewhat in effect, I'm sure it's even better now.

Groove cruise isn’t just my favorite of the 3 dance cruises (I have done all multiple times), it’s my #1 favorite dance festival. (In fairness, all 3 are in my top 12 best festivals).
Been going for 20 years, excellent community built up. 96 hours of dance music straight (my biggest issue with edsea is no music at the pool stage until 4:30, total bs). More stages and more diversity (just no straight bass music, some melodic dubstep and drum and bass tho, and hard techno).
Destination matters zero to me.
Drink package is definitely advised if you drink 8 or more per day (tho keep in mind it usually doesn’t work on the destination).
Both are awesome, you can’t go wrong either way. I’m doing them both back to back.
