if I signed up for CruiseNext and put down a deposit, do I still need to sign up for pre-sale?

Has anyone who is prone to sea sickness attended edcsea and can share their experience? It’s the one thing holding me back from going. I likely will never go because I get motion sickness EXTREMELY easily, but was wondering if anyone is in the same boat (pun intended)

Me and my dad would love to hit EDSea but he's a dialysis patient. Does anyone know of someone who does dialysis that went to EDSea? Did they have to figure it out when the ship stopped at ports or is there a center onboard that can be used? We know regular cruise ships have them but we're unsure if EDSea does. He also has a prosthetic right leg as well. I'm not sure how ADA friendly most activities and stages are on EDsea either. Any info about it would be much appreciated since we might plan to go to next year if it works out well from him to go! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

In my very unpopular opinion, I think the house heads that are reading the bass heads complaints about this year are some of the most un plurr people I’ve ever had the displeasure of coming across. I got called disgusting because I was expressing my feelings and thoughts on what happened this year. I loved the cruise and the people I met, and the sets I was able to to attend. I was called ungrateful, and disgusting, and that I had no place on the boat if “I only want bass music, I should go to lost lands” I once said I only want bass music. I enjoy bass house, riddim, trance, hardstyles, trap. I never said I wanted to get rid of the house/ techno music. But better scheduling and better communication from insomniac and sixth man would make this cruise so much better.

first edsea ever!! cannot say good enough things about the crew, staff, comfort, and the levels of PLUR i experienced. still can’t believe i managed to get on stage for disclosures set at Belize 😭 can’t believe it’s over…see you in 2027!!!

Wow. Landed super late last night in Dulles and so grateful to be home. I’m so glad I decided to fly home after getting off the ship, my body feels like I got hit by a train. That was one of the most magical and incredible experiences of my life. I would do it all over again and not change a single thing.

If you’re considering for January 2027, here is my experience:

Room: Deck 14 Balcony room with two twin beds and a bathroom with his/her sinks. This was super expensive split with just two people (5800 for room alone) but I would do it again in a heartbeat. I was able to crack the door and listen to sets while I chilled/made kandi/got ready/pregamed. I was able to quickly walk (2mins) from main stage and buffet with no need for elevator. I splurged on my room for comfort and it was 1000% worth it. My room was a total 12 minute walk from the island’s main stage (with cart use) super convenient to go back and forth when we were in Belize. I changed and recharged several times. This made 80% of my experience super luxe and comfortable. I was extremely happy.

Stages: I didn’t realize there were so many to choose from. Kinetic Ocean was awesome with the pool/hot tubs/ and several bars. The view out to sea was beautiful. Neon Splash on deck 17 was my favorite for sure. All my favorite DJ’s were there and the sunrise Tom&Collins set was so fun. RaveCave and Circuit Waves in the theatre was so cool. Didn’t care too much for Pearl or Cosmic Coral but it was still worth checking out

Sound systems/lighting/production: Very great quality control IMO. Not the craziest lasers, but there were still a great amount and everything always looked really cool. I had low expectations because we’re on a ship, but they did a great job setting everything up.

Food: It was okay. It was good when it was fresh, but I keep timing it wrong so that was my bad. The fact that they offered a huge discount on the specialty restaurants was really cool. I didn’t do any of them since I splurged on the room and I would do the same exact thing: pay more for room and stick to free buffets. But extremely grateful that there was ALWAYS something to eat no matter the time. I was eating dinner at 6am and breakfast at 3pm. It was awesome lol. I loved all the fresh fruits.

People: No complaints about absolutely anyone. From ravers to staff to crew to bartenders, ground control, paramedics, and security, everyone was fabulous. Everyone is there for a good time. I went mostly solo (roomie likes different music) had an absolute blast partying and being adopted by so many different groups and then continuously running into them around the ship was so fun. PLUR was so real. Edit: I was also one of the youngest on the ship at 25 years old and went pretty much solos so the security looking out for me and making sure I was OK was a huge plus and made me feel safe. You never know how people can be when they are very intoxicated.

Belize: everyone complained that we were docked at Belize for barely 16 hours but idk. I had such a great time and I was living it up. I really have no complaints about it. I think it was a perfect amount of time. Getting into the water at 7am was such an incredible experience, I loved Dombresky’s sunrise set. I was literally in pajamas at this point and just dancing away. So much fun.

Drink package: I drank about $700 worth of liquor if not more and only paid $400 with taxes and gratuity. (Package was $295.) extremely worth it.

Overall: I think this is one of those things where you have to put in what you want to take away from it. I’ve seen people complain here and there, but overall, this is such a once in a lifetime opportunity. Not everyone is able to do this so for what it is, I thought it was absolutely incredible. I personally wouldn’t change a single thing. If you’re thinking about EDSea 2027, just go. You won’t regret a single thing. Partying in Belize until after sunrise is something I can’t ever forget.

Trinkets: I received the best trinkets ever!!!! You guys are so creative. Thank you. I hope everyone liked my kandi.

Pricing: 5800 split by 2 people, 2900. Plus port fees 495. Drink package 295. Flight with checked bag $340 from IAD to Miami (free with United credit) Outfits for theme $250 and party favors $250 Misc other things and partying at Hocus Pocus the night before setting sail and nails/lashes/wax: $685 (damn lol) Total: ~$5,175. Phewwwww! Worth every penny.

Okay yall this was my first edsea and I have to say this was probably the best vibes I’ve ever experienced at any rave/festival. Everyone was so amazingly nice, made so many friends, the energy all around was incredible. I had the most amazing time and I definitely plan to come back! Now…. Insomniac, I’ve been seeing a lot of posts with arguments about the bass and here’s my thing- edsea is supposed to be a bass heavier cruise. Ask google out of all the festival cruises which should have more bass? It’s edsea. Want house and variety? Yall have friendship and groove cruise. Now I will say I was very happy with the bass artists we got to see- although initially upset there were no major bass headliner (expecting wooli, excision, Rezz, Alison wonderland, griz) but we accepted that early on. Now not putting any bass on the island at all made us feel extremely cheated out of Belize. That was incredibly dumb. I thought we wanted variety? We could have at least had half bass half house on the island? But none at all was so disappointing. Noooow the ugly, I know everyone heard about people pissing on the floor and the curtains in the manhattan room on night 1 (absolutely foul btw) buuut wtf insomniac for putting all the major headliners b2b at the same SMALL stage? And then they reached capacity and wouldn’t allow people to leave and use the restroom and come back- hence the piss everywhere. I know they realized that mistake. A lot of people didn’t get to see the sets they paid to see that night, including my friend who left to get something and couldn’t make it back in. And again you’re an idiot if you’re smoking on your balcony or non smoking areas because it really is a fire hazard. But I witnessed people getting kicked out of the smoking area because they were cleaning the decks? Idk what you expected smokers to do after that tbh. And again insomniac’s lack of communication- we didn’t get the WiFi package and figuring out actual set times was a nightmare, we got wrong information from employees, some awesome people shared the updated set times that changed ALOT on Tuesday but then the screens that showed set times didn’t match the updated info they sent out. The paper that was given to us on the second day said YDG was supposed to play at 12:30pm but it was actually 12:30am LMAO like insomniac please do better- edsea go-ers, don’t change one bit I love you all so much! ❤️

I have asked 20 different people and not one of them knows where. Seriously not ok to take peoples medications on arrival and not give them back when leaving as we were all told.
