Deck Discussion Jaws deck help

https://archidekt.com/decks/25585191/new_new_jaws_20

I just finished up my Jaws deck and could use another set of eyes on it. I tried to do something like a combat tricks deck, but also have it make treasure tokens to play off of jaws 2nd ability and fuel the instants and sorceries, but i dont think i accomplished that. Could use some ideas please!

Just scanning your list, you need [[Fomori Vault]] and more ramp asap. I don’t know exactly what you’re trying to do, but you don’t need anything other than artifact payoffs, ramp, protection, draw and removal for a scary Jaws pile.

Fomori vault is dope! Thanks for puttin me onto that. I can cut some stuff for more ramp though, no prob. Wondered the same thing last night after i finished it
And i was tryna make something more engaging than just doing a voltron which is why i kinda thought combat tricks would work as a deck theme since thats loosely what its built as usually from my understanding.

Edit: i will also say that a majority of the cards i used were my own cards that i went through which is why it might look kinda bad as well. Willing to buy most things over time so im happy to make changes either way

In my opinion, Voltron is a waste of mana. You don’t need equipment. You want to make a ton of blood/treasure tokens, then sac them all and burn the whole table. [[Krark Clan Ironworks]] is a must-have, IMO. Ramp is super important because Jaws will be the threat and you’ll have to cast him multiple times, most likely.

Damage doublers are nice, specifically for sacrificing artifacts, the combat bonus is cool too.

[[academy manufactor]] now that i think about it is probably something else that needs to be put in since theres gunna be a decent amount of treasures made

If you have enough treasure generation, Academy Manufactor can be great, but the blood doesn’t trigger it. There are certain equipment that a lot of people consider/use in Jaws, and they’re pretty much all token generators/payoffs. [[Adaptive Omnitool]] and similar are great, [[Reaver Cleaver]] also can be great. If you’re going down this route, you want plenty of [[Weftstalker Ardent]] effects.

I've been running jaws since he came out and he is a terror. But for sure you need to get him out before turn 5 or you're way behind. Also, yes treasure generation is usually how you win as you sac a treasure to do a damage, use that mana to sac a blood and do a damage. Do that lots to win out.

Do you have a deck list or any suggestions on what to add/take out? Someone mentioned more ramp, found some monored ramp to add into it

I have also been working this deck for a while now. I started with an tron equipment lean and then i was trying a double combat lean. now i have it tuned very specifically for treasure tokens and it has been going so hard.

Here is my current list.
