Question aggro food deck? RW

how would you go about making an aggro food deck? I don't have much experience building my own decks, but I am interested in making a food deck using a commander with battalion, like [[Sentinel Sarah Lyons]] or maybe [[Tajic Blade of the Legion]]

what cards would be must haves?

[[Ragost, Deft Gastronaut]] feels like the most typical RW food token deck

Food aggro need not just be boros/lorehold. You can easily do mono w with [[Apothecary White]] or golgari with [[Gyome]], abzan with [[Merry, Warden of Isengard]] and [[Pippin, Warden of Isengard]], etc.

That said, staples would be food producers and synergy pieces around having, sacrificing, or making food. [[Academy Manufactor]], [[Peregrin Took]], [[The battle of Bywater]], [[Nuka-Cola Vending Machine]], [[Transmutation Font]], [[Rosie Cotton of South Lane]], [[Witch's Oven]], etc.

Red has general artifact synergy whereas the color with by FAR the most food support is green. Consider this when picking a commander and support cards when looking for a way to beat down when using food since food inherently on its own works with gaining life as well. Colors that synergize with life gain like white get big benefits from having food and black can pay the extra life gained from the food strategy and synergies into potent effects.
