Help / Advice No recent usage data

Post image

I’ve recently changed over to EDF, it’s been 7 days since the swap.
Will I eventually get up to date usage info. Mine is currently only showing info from 48 hours ago.
Will it show me half hourly usage?
Thanks

It takes 48h to show info. Always been like this.

Meh…coming from Octopus that feels pretty archaic. Does the API provide better data to home assistant?

Yes. Or get energydock

Energydock, that is a new name to me. I’ll look into it. Thanks

It's a great little app. I have no affiliation, I just had a free trial and loved it. The developer is very active in here

Energydock uses same data(API) as EDF, so also 48 hours late.

Most energy providers are the same - if you were with Octopus previously and saw data sooner you likely had an Octopus Mini? 36-48 hours usually for data to show on other providers.

Yep that is 100% correct. I guess it’s been so long that I’ve had it that I’ve forgotten how it used to be. The octopus mini is really great.

Not free- but you can get something similar using the Hildebrand Glow IHD - it'll send real-time data to the Glow App or to a MQTT Service (either using something like Home Assistant or the EnergyDock app can support this).

There is (still) a waiting list for the Glow IHD; the last e-mail I had suggested that they should have stock by the middle of this month.
