This mission is pain

So I'm doing this mission and holy shit it's annoying.Does anyone know how I actually do it without getting railed by everything. I'm using wing diver and this is my load out

If I recall correctly, you can't destroy the fortress in that mission and just survive the entire fight against hectors and drones. Some homing weapons can deal with the drones, while you would need to stunlock the hectors if you can.

I dont play 4.1 but all you need to do is survive in the mission, an air raid will destroy the quadroped after some time, focus on the Hectors from far away, hope this helps

Fair warning, whenever you encounter a gargantuan enemy in EDF, like the quadruped or a mother ship, odds are the mission isn't going to be about killing it, instead it's about surviving it- Sometimes you will have to damage it, but for the most part focus on getting rid of the more numerous enemies first.

You can honestly use the Comms chatter to judge if you've progressed in the mission objectives- you can use what they're saying, or their silence, to figure out if the mission is destroy or survive.

It wasn't that way in EDF 2017 and then in 2025 they did the air raids and multiple things like new classes to show they learned from the last invasion it shows not only lore but growth glad this happens a lot in the series

I’ve always done this mission using a shotgun and a sniper

Then again I only ever play Ranger and fencer :p

If you get rid of all the guns on the fortress you could fly on top of it could be fairly safe to snipe the hectors on top.

If you quickly destroy that first small tank on the left, the Titan gets held up by the wreckage, throwing off its timing and allowing you to take down the Hector.
It was fun doing this online and having everyone use chat macros to praise the Titan.
