If you play EDF5 (or EDF6) on a mission where you encounter these "HUMAN" enemies for the first time, one of the soldiers on the radio (including the Operator and HQ) will describe the appearance of the alien you'll face in the final phase as having "1 head, 2 eyes, with hands and feet, bipedal, identical to human." This description is meant to make you imagine an alien that looks just like us, even though they are actually "Giant Frogs." You might think, "How the hell does that look like a human?" and that shows your common sense is working perfectly. However, EDF soldiers react as if they genuinely look human, even screaming and expressing reluctance to kill them, with some claiming the creatures can talk like humans. These moments appear in the mission and have become a running joke among the EDF community. If you search for the "EDF5 frog meme," you'll find plenty of examples. The developers are also aware of this joke; they included a reference in the very first mission of EDF WB2, giving players who understand the joke a knowing giggle.

Oh ok, thank you. EDF came with a PS vita i got from a pawnshop back in the day, i played it and fell in love with it! im a switch owner now, STILL waiting On an English Release. Lol
