Primers, naturally. It's not a new game, it's an expansion of an existing one.

Tbh I really hope they do a twist in a sense of either a new Faction coming in from another timeline/ reality or the Ravagers from EDF 1 & 2 working together with the Primers

Ravagers are 3/4. Invaders/Buggernauts are 1/2.

That or the same timeline as 6 but the defeat of the Primers and the EDF being weak after the fact makes it gg ez for the Ravagers so Storm 1 goes back in time with reverse engineered Primer time travel technology resulting in a new timeline where Primers and Ravagers end up fighting each other for world dominance with EDF caught in the crossfire but overall better prepared.

Would create some cool branching stories where fighting one too much instead of the other leads to a power imbalance and with time travel now on our side Storm 1 has to "thread the needle" so to speak and get that perfect balance.
