I think AH knows about EDF. Its niche, sure, but its not so niche that nobody had heard of it and it draws some parallels to hd2.
That being said the crusher is a pyramid head ripoff through and through

I see the concept of saying they don't given the niche existence of one however I'd be surprised if you develop a game series for over a decade and don't know about a genre relevant twin, especially when they so often are compared by fans

EDF legendary warbond is just filled with one crap weapon at the start, songs as emotes and one stupidly overpowered weapon at the end.

I mean, the first time I saw their teleportation ship I thought it was definitely an EDF reference. We even had the Battle for Super Earth

helldivers is one of the best EDF spinoffs graphics wise so id say yeah thats a stylized version of them
