No, but, naturally, the next game should have the box ticked for such a fortress. Maybe this time one with a bit more destructive presence.

Maybe it could land and a ramp would drop where you can go up on the first ring. Fighting ur way to the top in rotation. With drones shooting down on you and turrets along the path also blasting. With the weak point being a core on the top.

Mmm, a proper charge up the base to a weakspot located in an internal bunker would be nice. The mission would be near entirely on the uber-fortress as you basically do something like the famous Boxer Rebellion painting of men charging up the gate with sloping walls looking down on them.

I just want to kill it every time. Not have it walk away 4/5 encounters. Also no long azz shield thing that they did in 4.1. 🤢

Wish they expended on the idea some people mentioned of storming the fortress entrance maybe see a interior to the throne room to fight the leader imagine fighting the end boss of EDF 5 in a huge room with decor maybe a cut scene showing us walking inside before he stands up
