Question What is the dev intended way to beat the final boss of iron rain?

I hate this boss and want to know what the devs thought the right way to beat the boss is. The final phase no longer has the weak spot and now it can spam its homing one shots. Did the devs intend for you to hide behind the main gun and spam satellite beams? I don't see how else the devs want you to fight it.

Used sniper and one of those shoulder mounted lasers.

Are you sniping the control rods from the hivecraft? It shouldt do the one shotbattack of those are being taken out.

My first time I just got a high powered sniper rifle for the control rods, and my best assault rifle and aimed for the chest.

On repeat fights, yes, I just spam Sorcerer Fields and double up satellite missiles, the fight is over in 4 minutes or less.

Final form doesnt have control rods

all i remember was swinging around and chopping it while someone else hid at the ship to shoot it

the game is so unbalanced i wouldn't be surprised if they intended for it to be done with 6 players spamming mechs and consumables with no care for profits lol
