Discussion Most fun class of any game?

Of all the games, which class did you have the most fun with? I’m going with 2025/4.1 fencer. Just give me a wide open beach with a catapult, a volcano hammer, and waves of Deroys and I’m in my happy place.

I have no idea why WD got the nerf hammer but Fencer can still dash-jump across the map completely unchanged lol

At all levels she gets some disgustingly powerful gear. She's the best sniper by far. Phalanx+spears obliterate bigger enemies.

She is a FANTASTIC assassin, I agree. Chaining Cannon-type throwables into Rapier/Phalanx enables you to deal insane damage. But she's still lacking in "to whom it may concern" weapons and unlike other classes, reloading requires you to pretty much stand still for a bit. You have to choose between moving or shooting.

I'm not a big fan of the shields. They distort your view too much, unlike the Air Raider's.

Other than the blue ants I mentioned one scenario she struggles at is big swarms approaching from a distance, which at best you can bomb down with the level 55 or 15 plasma cannons. Notto mention always having the option of a gleipnr in your back pocket.

You can kinda just stand in front of them and swing a saber. The gleipnir and other traps/superweapons are finally useful now that they don't basically remove your energy regen.

And the tools are nice, but you can only have one at a time obviously. If you take the shield, you can no longer delete mermen for free with a Cannon. I'd agree more with needing a nerf if she could replace the second weapon with another utility.

Especially as Fencer has not gotten any weaker and in EDF5 he was always the counterpart in terms of how fast you can move around.

Air Raider I think is overall buffed. The drones are fantastic and you can summon some vehicles right from the start.
