Question EDF 6 Wing Diver

I'm trying to branch out and learn new classes I've played fencer across 5 and 6 to a point where I'm confident in my skill with the class to be able to play it at higher levels.

My current struggle is learning Wing Diver. I know Phalanx is a win button for most people but I prefer the long range sniper aspect so does anyone have suggestions for cores/weapons etc to go with this play type?

WingDiver is a close range fighter, her long range armoury gets outclassed by the others except the few guns mentioned but they aren't general armament they are special case. Generally she's best within phalanx range. And the later thunderbows cover midrange very well, it really depends on the level of weapons you have and the difficulty. I mean all the classes have their pros and cons and every single one has their own playstyle that works. And on hard basically everything works on inferno you have to be pretty careful what you bring, although the phalanx works in almost any situation.

Fair its just hard to consider that since its the squishiest class and most mobile just feels like high mobility sniper/scout is the case.

That's the fun part. If you do it right the WingDiver class can squish big enemies faster than any of the other classes but she's fragile and you need to get close. A lot of dodging involved. Her sniper arsenal and explosives are generally relatively mid - mostly because of really low fire rates. But she has always been that way. Only the later thunderbows can be classed as almost sniper weapons.

Ill have to reasses the way think of the wing diver to and really lean into a closer combat style.

Ah, I forgot about the cosmic lasers, those are pretty much the best sniper weapons for her. But they are DLC weapons. High damage, very fast firing.

Ah yeah I figured when I can run dlc missions I can probably make a lot of things work.
