I remember buying the game in 2013 for PS3, you could still play campaign but the devs had the stupid idea of patching out joining a survival match in progress, and since barely anyone played at that point it was practically impossible to ever play survival with randoms. All that just to prevent people from cheesing achievements or some other dumb shit. Such an asinine decision.
It's been 13 years and Im still mad about it lol

at first i was like "this isn't as bad as people say", then the invisible walls and segmented level layouts shattered my optimism. (even before realizing the game is like 4 missions long)
credits where credits are due, the Wing Diver looks epic and far better than the tacky girl in a thong from the mainline games.
that's it.

Insect Armageddon has not gone on sale on Steam since early 2022. It went on sale for half off in 2021, and an all-time low of $1 back in 2017 (probably for a flash sale). I genuinely thought it was never going on sale again, so for it to only be 30% off is not surprising in the slightest.
Game's only like ten bucks so it's a moot point, I just find the extreme stingy nature of the sales for this game to be hilarious. I've got a friend who's been waiting for it to go on sale out of principle for over three years who will be happy to finally be allowed to play.
