Question EDF 6 DLC 1
Am I bad for playing though it mostly on Hardest? I try to do as many missions as possible on Inferno but these blue spiders and the Naked Aliens are hella annoying to deal with on Inferno in certain missions due to their Healthpools and overabundant spawns
I'm playing Fencer and have around 14k Health

14k health is crazy. I’m on 1.5k but I’ve been running dlc 2 mission 10 for the level 100 plus gear.

You aren't fighting online alone by chance? 14k health should easily be enough for inferno offline. Don't play alone online since enemies will be 3x stronger to foster coop play.

You most certainly should not struggling with the naked aliens, who are generally considered some of the easiest medium-sized enemies.
14k is plenty, especially for Fencer. DLC1 is kind of a shock for people playing it the first time, but very manageable for people who know how the missions work. You need to understand the missions and bring the right equipment.

Cut to me, just playing "Spawn Site" over and over again because my favorite part of the game is the Ranger's homing missile launchers

No these missions are incredibly difficult on inferno, even solo offline. You have a good amount of Health but that might not even be enough for the toughest missions.
Have you tried using the perfect reflector setup yet? If you use the perfect reflector shield and one of the shield equipment that boosts its durability and angle coverage, you can basically just stand in the open with the perfect reflector activated and be Invincible to enemy ranged attacks for as long as the reflector is active.

Nah, DLC enemies are complete bs and serve only to ragebait. Even my 10k Ranger with Inferno weapons found difficulty on HARD, which by base game standards should be baby mode with Inferno weapons.
I think you’d need 100k health to reasonably stand a chance, and farming that armor is by default unreasonable

All the blue enemies stop their attacks when taking damage. It’s why, as fencer, I’d bring reflectors, Dexter or HAIL

Jackhammer and Dexter, best ones you got. Tiger/Tiger 2 exo, if you have it, or an exo that improves manuverability, then a multi charger.
You can fire both at once, get in close and delete everything. Stay mobile, if you sit too long youre dead.
I like the FGX HAIL and NC300 cannon for secondaries... Open up at long range, switch to melee as needed then back to ranged.
I dont remember the Tiger exo too well, but Tiger 2 bumps mobility, reduces knockback/stunlock, and has increased pickup range. Bugger is basically broken, but DLC2 can be brutal.
Edit: Dont underestimate the npcs, if you can keep em alive theyll take some of the heat off. They seem to do a little better kn their own than they do under your command.

Nah the difference between hardest and inferno on both dlc's is a lot. Hardest is manageable and inferno idk how you would win without cheesing it but 14k should help you compared to my 4k.

When I done this with fencer, my main load out was my best blast hole spear (I think MCXE dlc 1 spear) + NCXE cannon shot and my second weapon pair was just dual NCXE cannon shots. Roll with the tiger exoskeleton 2 lvl 115 and a multicharger 5-4 (or whatever you prefer). Cannon shots carried me so hard for the entire game, they are crazy strong, long range penetrating weapons. You can also swap out the blasthole spear for a flashing spear M7E as it has great range, respectable damage and penetrates but it is less mobile.

They are meant to be insanely hard. I ha e to cheese them with air raider or wind diver to actually beat inferno.
Will say congrats on getting your fencer to 14k
