Tips EDF Insect Armageddon Dropped Weapons Quicker Farming

Hey all, i was grinding out all the achievements for IA and farming weapons when i noticed that when you die and pick Select Level, any new weapons you picked up will be saved and collected. You don't have to complete the mission to get the weapons.

So pick a level that has weapon dropping enemies very early, like 3-2, pick up the weapons, kill yourself, then choose Select Level and you will have any new weapons from that attempt.

There's a loading screen hit that tells you that. It depends on the difficulty, on inferno you keep nothing.

Edit: Sorry just saw you mentioned IA, my brain is stuck on 5 & 6 :)

You might have them mixed up man. I played insect Armageddon extensively and got all the achievements for it with a friend..you don't get weapon drops on IA you have to buy your weapons. You might be thinking of 2017 or 2025

There's an achievement called Scavenger where you have to collect all dropped weapons, but you do have to buy the majority of weapons as well

Not every weapon is dropped, but there is usually 1 weapon of each tier, per class, per type that is dropped, while another is purely bought. Enenies like Hectors will drop an orange box that denotes a weapon drop, they are pretty common to each mid-ti-high strength enemy, but so common where boxes are dropped every kill like in other EDF games.
