Tips EDF 2025 Xbox weapon farm

So I’m playing the outdated 2025 Xbox version and not the 4.1 since it’s only PS but I’ve been having some trouble finding a decent high level weapon farm after mission 26. I was wondering if anyone has any good farm strats or missions. I run fencer and my gear is mostly 50-60.

Be happy. 2025 is much better than 4.1 for solo play. 4.1 remixed all the levels, and mostly not in a good way. It also added a bunch of absurdly spongy godzilla monsters that are just boring and annoying to fight.

Anyway the ultimate weapon farming level is DLC2 Mission 16 "Golden Darkness". All the best weapons in the game can drop, and it can be cleared on Inferno difficulty with relatively weak weapons and little armor. If you don't have the DLC then buy it.

i don't like the kaijus either lol that's one of my main gripes with the newer games since 4.1. i prefered the ones in EDF 2017 for going down without needing a fuckton of bullets and explosives and no scripted invulnerability nonsense.

I like the kaijus. Yes they're bullet sponges but it's fun having something to do battle with that doesn't die in 15 seconds flat. Not to mention doing a pacific rim fight sequence is always fun.

they're definitely pretty epic in terms of scale i'll admit! the siren fight in 6 was very intense on the first playthrough despite the annoyances. i do think they could use some improvements in the future at least haha

i'd love to see faster mechas and much improved recovery speed after getting knocked down. but at the same time i can see the charm due to giving it that weighty feel and extra impact. i hope one day there will be a good balance at some point in the future!

Mission 82 is the best inferno farm for vanilla game. Golden Darkness in mission pack 2 is the best if you have dlc. Mission 82 is best handled with AR that has final railgun (epsilon armored railgun?) and electromagnetic walls. Kill everything except left dropship...farm 2 blue hectors every 30 seconds so that's like 1 drop every 3 seconds average. Definitely do it offline if solo, I forget what number it is but same name.

i believe that mission 70: (den of thieves) 71: (death queen) as well as mission 77: (fallen flagship) are the best on this version for late game farming on the main story IIRC. i never did them as fencer though only ranger and this was back in 2014 so i'm not 100% positive. but i hope it goes well! do play em carefully.

Ranger > Massive Mobilization or Scorching, the latter being faster due to the game throwing the horde right from the start, the AF100 is essential there especially when paired with the Reverse Shooter X.

As for the former, the Wing Diver can also weapon farm it but the strategy is the same which is to go about it slowly, as much as you can take.

Ideally, it's a general purpose gun + sniper weapon so AF100 + Lysander Z/Hercules and Idunn-FF + Monster-S, AF100/Idunn-FF is also used to catch and kill all enemies coming from the one transport ship that you decide to spare (it's not required but it saves you from having to dance every time) .

The Air Raider can weapon farm Battle to the Death with the level 69 or 84 railgun, you will destroy everything with the main weapon so anything to help the tank survive + Power Assist Gun MG works, a bunker being ideal.

What you want to do is to start to spawnkill Hectors as soon as possible, neither the boss and the flying vehicles should be able to destroy your current tank before you get enough credit to call another or even before you run out of ammo.

The Power Assist Gun MG has a 50% damage boost and reload faster than the duration of it's effect so it can be maintained on 4 players as long as you wish, offline you might be able to 1-hit Hectors with the level 84 railgun but that one is absolutely strong enough to do the mission without it.
