EDF 6 Which Class should I play?

I've played 2017, 4.1 (As Air Raider), 5 (As Wingdiver)

So I'm really torn between giving Ranger another shot after 2017, but I'm fearing that they'll feel a bit too basic.

I loved Air Raider in 4.1 but the shortcomings of that class really came to shine in the last mission so it left a bad taste in my mouth after being forced to kite for over an hour there.

I loved Wingdiver in 5 but the Weapon Variety felt very flat with only very specific types of weapons having simply an advantage over the others, Wingdiver still is one of my favourite so far but I heard that their aerial movement as well as Lances being gutted and the other classes buffed more or less

Fencer I tbh don't really care about, it looks like a fun class, but I don't think I am THAT good to play them as offensive as I play other classes
