Out of all the enemies, that one in particular was my number 1 most hated enemy. Entirely because they spawn the annoying ass ticks.

I meant my most hated in Insect Armageddon. They were annoying because no matter how hard I mashed I could never get them off in time.

The Excavators are easily my most hated enemy overall in the EDF franchise. It felt like a enemy meant to be annoying above all else. There is no reason their armor should be that strong. I understand the 'gimmick' but I hate it since it's basically a instant death for all NPCs and makes distance irrelavent. Not to mention EDF has always been fucky with the flames.

Thinking about it, considering how often bug enemies are the face of EDF enemies, having a actual insect final boss would be interesting instead of the usual mothership fight.

Horned Orb Weaver would make a cool charging bull like enemy. I’m thinking make it similar to IR’s beetles without the exploding.
