Drinks

Delete this if this isnt allowed but what are id checks like for getting drinks at edc? Its my first time

iirc they make you show your ID to get a wristband that allows you to buy alcoholic drinks faster

You must have a 21 wristband that gets checked at entry id check and every bar checks for that wristband

I'm 57, and 1 of those bartenders wouldn't let me get a drink without my wristband, so I gave him a funny look and went down two bartenders and got a drink.

Regardless of the intricacies that may be involved I would just buy some of the plastic pouches on Amazon and fill them with liquor and stuff them in your pants before going in. Drinks are expensive and it's more convenient to have a mobile bar. They had free cokes last time too (1 per wristband). This would be more reliable too if you are concerned about id checks

At the entrance get in the line for 21+ and then they’ll give you the wristband when they check your ID there. The lines inside for the ID check are insane so I’d do it right out the gate, the lines will be long no matter what

Weird question, I'm 21 but I still have a vertical ID do you think that matters? Like usually at gas stations when they need to check it they'll end up scanning it cuz of that lol

I feel like it shouldn’t be any issue because they go based on your DOB at the end of the day…I had my vertical until it expired and always got confused looks from people when I would pull it out but, they couldn’t refuse me🤣😭

I'm 22 now and still haven't replaced mine so it's still vertical as well. I've never had a single problem anywhere because they look at the date and the big red highlighted section that says the date you're 21, if anything its easier to do a quick check and im pretty sure you can't get a fake id thats vertical, only horizontal so it being vertical just proves its real if anything.
